This article is a little different in that we though we would focus on “NIOXIN for Women” and in particular the subject , I’m sure there are not many of us who do not have a family member or friend who have suffered from Breast Cancer and for this reason we thought it may be of interest to our clients, to know that we can help.
It is estimated that Breast Cancer will affect one out of every 12 women in New Zealand, in 1996 (our most recent study) 1,906 women were diagnosed with Breast Cancer and of these 681 survived. The sad fact is with earlier diagnosis many more of these women could have been saved.Although researchers aren’t exactly sure what causes Breast Cancer, they associate it with genetics and environmental toxins and continue to look at certain viral linkages, which may trigger cell growth.
Treatments such as chemotherapy, whilst very effective in many cases, also come with some side effects, one of which is hair loss .
Hair loss can be devastating, especially to a woman. The NIOXIN system can be of great benefit because it removes toxins from the scalp increases cellular activity and nutrient uptake, thereby helping to reduce excessive daily hair loss .
For best results, I recommend commencing the NIOXIN system prior to Chemotherapy treatments. If the treatments have already started, it’s not too late; there are still benefits to be gained by using the NIOXIN system. Always consult your doctor & talk to them about common drugs that effects hair loss before use.
Directions for the use of NIOXIN before, during & after Chemotherapy
Step 1: Cleanse scalp and hair gently with NIOXIN CLEANSER twice daily, leave on for 30-60 seconds, rinse well. Only one application is necessary.
Step 2: Apply NIOXIN SCALP THERAPY to the scalp, leave in for 1 to 3 minutes, rinse well and gently towel blot the moisture from hair.
Step 3: Apply NIOXIN FOLLICLE BOOSTER* directly onto the scalp. Distribute with the fingertips to scalp areas with excessive thinning and along the hairline
Step 4: Depending on hair density you will use the most appropriate NIOXIN SCALP TREATMENT product for your hair at this stage:
- For ‘normal’ hair density use the NIOXIN Scalp Treatment over the entire scalp and leave on.
- For diffuse hair loss apply NIOXIN Scalp Treatment to the entire scalp (worst affected areas first)
It is very important to be gently with the hair, no friction drying or harsh combing. Although NIOXIN is a safe and natural product, as with any procedure it is advised you consult your doctor before use.
